BLAST

For this project, I was required to produce a contemporary redesign of Blast, the radical magazine that launched the British avant-garde movement "Vorticism". Drawing inspiration from the original publication’s bold typography, experimental layouts and rebellious visual language, the project reinterprets Blast as a modern zine while preserving its disruptive spirit and distinctive visual identity. The redesign pays homage to the magazine’s original issues, particularly the iconic magenta-pink cover of Issue No. 1, while exploring how its early 20th-century aesthetic can be reimagined for a contemporary audience.
